Because of the advanced features and modularity of the SANUPS E11A, the UPS can be utilized to protect equipment in areas such as manufacturing floors, small data centers, broadcast, and communications sites as well as military C4ISR and C5ISR applications.

The SANUPS E11A protects sensitive equipment from power issues such as:

• Rolling brownouts (surges and spikes)
• Blackouts and power re-starts
• Outdated or failed electrical wiring and or power distribution equipment
• Severe weather events
• Unstable power generation from local utilities or on-site generation

The E11A is a “Hybrid” UPS topology.  The E11A will switch between three different power modes depending on the health of incoming electrical power.  When no power anomalies are identified, the SANUPS E11A switches to Economy mode.  This mode provides the most power efficiency which translates into lower operational costs.  For minor issues with power input, the SANUPS E11A switches to Active mode correcting problems before supplying power to target equipment.  Lastly, when significant incoming electrical issues are detected, the SANUPS E11A switches to Double Conversation mode that will isolate critical equipment from directly connecting to the commercial power grid or onsite power generation sources before conditioning the power and providing clean, stable energy for sensitive equipment.  Under all three modes, the SAN E11A provides instantaneous battery backup power in the event of complete power loss.
