The Sanyo Denki SANUPS A11J is double conversion online UPS product. The A11J UPS supplies either 5kVA or 10kVA of back up battery power. This single-phase UPS system supports 120V, 240V & 208V power input. The A11J uninterruptible power source features include power conditioning and filtration, wide AC input power, and high-reliability 7-24 up-time. The A11J Online UPS robust design and features make it ideal for applications ranging from commercial, industrial, medical and military applications.



Electrical power issues like spikes, voltage sags, harmonic distortion, and ultimately total power loss can wreak havoc on critical equipment. These electrical power issues can prematurely age, cause calibration issues, and damage or destroy essential equipment. These issues can cost thousands to millions of dollars in the loss of productivity, inventory/data and the repair or replacement of equipment.
The SANUPS A11J was designed to address these incoming power issues. Utilizing a Double Conversion On-Line topology, the UPS isolates target equipment from commercial utility power. This process cleans and stabilizes incoming electrical power to critical equipment. Additionally, the A11J accepts wide AC power input. Allowing for wide-ranging AC power input keeps the UPS batteries from engaging. This advanced feature dramatically reduces the operational stress on the UPS as well as target equipment.
Lastly, the Sanyo Denki A11J UPS device provides immediate backup power in the event of total power loss. Coming in either a 5kVA or 10kVA configuration the UPS can support backup power to single as well as multiple target devices. Backup times are increased by adding additional external batteries to the configuration.
Features
Double Conversion Online
The Double Conversion Online topology protects critical equipment by isolating them from the raw incoming utility power. Incoming electrical power is stabilized and filtered the resulting output is a pure sine wave in both voltage and frequency. This conversion process provides clean, conditioned, and stable electrical power to target equipment.
Scalable Power
With provisions for expandability, the A11J can support up to 10kVA of backup electrical power. Optional external battery modules can be added to a configuration increasing overall backup time depending on system up-time requirements.
Maintainability
The A11J’s modular design allows for electrical power to continue to supply electrical power to target equipment during servicing. Via an internal bypass switch, batteries, inverter, and transformer are hot-swappable, allowing for 7/24 up-time of the UPS platform.
Wide Input Range
This unique feature of Sanyo Denki UPS products stabilizes incoming power sags and spikes. By addressing wide-ranging power input, prevents the UPS from switching to reserve battery power. This benefit keeps backup batteries at full charge as well as reducing stress on target equipment and the UPS itself.
Auto Health Check
The A11J systematically checks the UPS through the integrated CPU controller. The system checks status on battery charge, discharge and voltage states as well as internal UPS temperatures. If anomalies are detected the UPS provides an alert alarm for system maintenance to the end user.
Power Correction
Power Factor Correction eliminates distortion and harmonic currents that are harmful to sensitive electrical equipment. Eliminating this distortion removes the potential for equipment performance issues, increases overall target equipment reliability, and reduces system power consumption.
Reduced EMI
Sanyo Denki develops internal circuity with reduced EMI emissions in mind. Architectures are tested and validated in an acoustic anechoic chamber. These extra steps ensure the lowest electrical noise possible. This efficient design also reduces electrical interference problems to surrounding sensitive equipment.
Thermal Management
An integrated thermal management system monitors the internal temperature of the A11J. The system will adjust cooling fan speed rotation depending on thermal requirements. When not required, cooling fans throttle down, lowering system noise, increasing fan life and lowering power consumption.
Coating Protection
A protective chemical coating is applied to protect electronic circuit boards from harsh environments. The coating is electrically insulated and provides a barrier to contaminants such as dust, insects, and moisture.
SANUPS SOFTWARE is a Web-based automated 7/24 shutdown assistant. When installed on shutdown target computers, your mission-critical equipment can be safely powered down in the event of an extended power loss. The software ensures system up-time, data integrity, and the ability to maintain business continuity. The application shutdown function even shuts down Microsoft office applications as well. Systems administrators will receive remote email notification during power events.
(Optional) heat and humidity sensors can provide enhanced environmental monitoring of the UPS systems, equipment racks as well as installed locations.

Ruggedization
Within the A11J, a protective chemical coating protects electronic circuit boards from harsh environments such as moisture or dirt and dust. Additionally, an epoxy adhesive bonds discrete board level components securely to their circuit board. These enhancements help to make the A11J perfect for light industrial environments.
